The six-stage method, packaging & print design edition
- 01Open
2–3 days
SKU count, formats, your printer (or a recommendation), budget, and the deadline for the print run.
A kick-off conversation or written brief, and a written scope you sign off before anything else starts.
- 02Audit
2–4 days
What's failing at the press with the current packaging, what's inconsistent across SKUs.
A short audit document specific to your service, used to brief stage 03.
- 03Direction
3–5 days
One structural and visual direction approved before final art starts — no die-line surprises later.
One direction presented and signed off in writing.
- 04Draft
1–2 weeks
Full working artwork, laid out at real size and bleed, not a screen mockup.
You review real, near-final work, not a concept sketch.
- 05Balance
1 week, including a real press proof
Your revision rounds, checked against an actual press proof, not just a screen.
Your feedback, applied and checked, for the number of rounds your package includes.
- 06Close
3–5 days
Final press-ready files, die-lines, and — where scoped — production management through the run.
Everything lands in your inbox, in formats you can use without us, the day your final invoice clears.

Fit for, and not for
Fit for
- Physical-product brands — food, beverage, cosmetics, retail — preparing for a print run or a launch
- Needing files a Spanish/EU printer accepts on the first submission, not the third
Not for
- A digital-only brand refresh with no physical print run (see Brand Identity Design)
- Exploring packaging concepts before any product is close to production (start with Brand Strategy or Brand Identity)
- A single business-card or stationery reprint (see the smaller scope inside Brand Identity Design)
Questions about packaging & print design
01 What is a "press-tested" file, exactly?
A file checked at real size and bleed, in the correct colour profile (CMYK or the Pantone spec agreed at Open), against a press proof — not just eyeballed on a screen. That’s what stops a printer bouncing it back.
02 Do you manage the actual print run, or just hand over files?
Files are always handed over. Production management — coordinating with your printer through the run itself — is included at Premium or purchasable as an add-on (€1,200) at any tier.
03 What if my printer bounces the file after delivery?
That’s what stage 05 (Balance) and the press-proof review exist to catch before delivery. If a file we’ve delivered is genuinely rejected on technical grounds after Close, we fix it at no extra charge — the file didn’t meet the brief we agreed.
04 How many SKUs does each package cover?
One at Essential, up to three sharing a structural system at Growth, up to six at Premium. More SKUs are quoted as additional scope, not silently folded in.
05 What if I need to cancel after the die-line is approved?
Full refund minus payment fees before Open begins; the 30% deposit is non-refundable once Open starts; work already at Draft or Balance is invoiced against what’s delivered. Full terms: Refund & Cancellation Policy.
06 Do you work with any Spanish/EU printer, or only specific ones?
Any — files are prepped to standard Spanish/EU press specifications so they work with your existing printer, or we can recommend one if you don’t have one yet.
07 Is IVA included in the price shown?
No — prices are ex-IVA. Spanish IVA (21%) is added as a line at checkout.
